Fender Victor Bailey Jazz Bass
The Fender Victor Bailey Jazz Bass is the signature model built for the American jazz and session bassist Victor Bailey, known for his work with Weather Report. It takes the Jazz Bass platform and adds active electronics, a set of pickups designed for a wide and even response, and a neck shaped to his preference, giving a bass that can produce both the traditional Jazz Bass voice and a modern, brighter and more extended sound. It was produced in limited numbers, and it sits among the small group of artist instruments Fender has built for jazz players.
