Gibson B series
The Gibson B series is a group of acoustic guitars Gibson produced from the 1960s, with model numbers such as the B-25 and B-15. The instruments are flat-tops of modest size built with solid or laminated woods and, in several versions, a narrow neck and a smaller body than the company's dreadnoughts, which made them comfortable for students and for players who wanted a guitar to accompany singing. They were made in quantity and sold at moderate prices, and although they are not the most celebrated Gibsons, they are respected as simple, workable instruments and collected as examples of the company's acoustic production of that period.
