Gibson Blueshawk
The Gibson Blueshawk is a semi-hollow electric guitar Gibson introduced in the 1990s. It has a compact, contoured body with hollow chambers and an f-hole, a thin body and a scale length longer than the usual Gibson measure, together with two P-90 style single-coil pickups and a tone-shaping circuit offering several preset voicings through a rotary control. It was designed for blues and roots players who wanted a light, resonant instrument with a range of single-coil sounds, and it has a small but devoted following.
