Gibson ES-359

The Gibson ES-359 is a semi-hollow electric guitar from the 2000s, taking the double-cutaway thinline construction with a solid centre block and offering it in a highly specified form. It carries two humbucking pickups with separate controls, block inlays, multi-ply binding and a choice of figured tops, and it sits close to the most decorated instruments of the family in its appointments. Instruments of this kind exist for players who want the classic semi-hollow voice and look with modern hardware and finishing, and they are produced in smaller numbers than the standard models.
