Gibson Falcon

The Gibson Falcon is a valve guitar amplifier from the company's line of the early 1960s, made in combos of modest power with a single speaker, two channels and tremolo, and usually finished in the covering and grille cloth of the period. Gibson's amplifiers of that era were built to accompany its guitars rather than to rival the specialist manufacturers, and they are simple circuits with a warm, compressed tone at low volume. Instruments of this kind are collected now as part of Gibson's wider output, and they are used for recording where their modest power is an advantage.
