Gibson G-Force
The Gibson G-Force is the self-tuning system Gibson fitted to its guitars in the 2010s, the successor to the earlier Robot Guitar arrangement. The electronics and motorised tuners can bring the strings to standard pitch or to a number of preset alternative tunings at the touch of a control, and the system can also be used in the conventional way with manual tuning. It was offered on a number of models and was also sold as a retrofit unit, and the technology aimed to let players change tuning quickly on stage, though some players preferred instruments without it.
