Gibson Gary Moore Les Paul
The Gibson Gary Moore Les Paul is the signature model built for the Northern Irish guitarist, known for his work with Thin Lizzy and as a blues player. It is based on the Les Paul Standard of the late 1950s that he used for much of his career, with two humbucking pickups, a bound body and neck, a rosewood fretboard and a faded or aged-looking sunburst finish designed to recall the appearance of a heavily played instrument. Gibson has issued versions of the model, and it is used by players who want the voice of the late 1950s Standard that shaped Moore's tone.
