Gibson GK-55
The Gibson GK-55 is catalogued here among the instruments and products Gibson made beyond its guitars, most likely from the company's range of electronic keyboards or amplifiers, which it produced during the period when it was expanding into other areas of musical equipment. The record gives the designation and the maker without a description of the unit's function or its production dates, so this entry does not claim a specification for it. Instruments and devices of this kind survive as documentation of the breadth of Gibson's manufacturing rather than as central items in its output.
