Gibson Robot Guitar
The Gibson Robot Guitar is the self-tuning electric guitar Gibson introduced at the end of the 2000s, most often as a version of the Les Paul. It carries motorised tuning machines and an electronic control system that can bring the strings to standard pitch or to a set of preset alternative tunings at the push of a control, and it also functions as an ordinary guitar if the system is switched off, with manual tuning available in the usual way. It was the first widely sold self-tuning guitar, and the technology was developed further in later models.
