Gretsch 6136
The Gretsch 6136 is the White Falcon, a large hollow-body electric guitar introduced in the mid 1950s as the most elaborate instrument in the company's range. It is finished in white with gold-plated hardware, has an ornate bound body with a distinctive scroll-shaped upper cutaway, two filter-style pickups, a Bigsby vibrato and elaborate inlays on the fretboard and around the body, and its original design was intended as a showpiece for exhibitions as much as a working guitar. It became a favourite of several prominent players and remains one of the most striking instruments in production, still offered by Gretsch today.
