Gretsch 6120
The Gretsch 6120 is a hollow-body electric guitar introduced in the mid 1950s in association with the American guitarist Chet Atkins. It is a large single-cutaway instrument with a laminated maple body, two pickups in the company's own filter style, a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece and a distinctive orange finish with a large branded pickguard, together with a control layout including a master volume and a tone switch. Its bright, twangy voice with a hollow resonance made it a staple of country, rockabilly and later rock, and Gretsch has produced it in many versions since.
