Gretsch Triple Jet

The Gretsch Triple Jet is a version of the Jet chambered solid-body guitar fitted with three pickups instead of the usual two. The extra pickup adds a further set of combinations to the master volume and tone-switch control layout that Gretsch used on the design, giving a wider range of voices from a small, arched-top body with a set neck and a vibrato tailpiece on most examples. The Triple Jet was offered in the 1950s and has been revisited in later reissues, and it appeals to players who want the distinctive Jet sound with an additional option for quack and out-of-phase combinations.
