Ibanez Apex
The Ibanez Apex is a series of seven-string electric guitars built for the American guitarist James Shaffer, known as Munky, of the band Korn. Instruments in the series are solid-body guitars with the company's own thin, fast-playing necks and a pair of high-output humbucking pickups, finished in dark colours with graphic details, and they are set up for the low, percussive, heavily syncopated riffing that the band is known for. Ibanez has produced seven-string signature models for several members of Korn, and the Apex is one of the better known of them.
