Ibanez AS73
The Ibanez AS73 is one of the semi-hollow electric guitars in Ibanez's Artcore range. It has the classic double-cutaway thinline body with hollow chambers divided by a solid centre block, a set neck and two humbucking pickups with separate volume and tone controls, and it is offered in several colours and with different hardware levels across the range. The design gives a warm, sustaining voice with some of the resonance of a hollow guitar and the resistance to feedback of a solid instrument, and it is used for blues, jazz and rock by players who want a semi-hollow guitar at a moderate price.
