Ibanez GAX series
The Ibanez GAX series is a group of solid-body electric guitars sold in the lower and middle parts of the company's range. Instruments in the series have double-cutaway bodies with a rounded, contoured outline, bolt-on necks with a slim profile and two humbucking pickups with a straightforward control layout, and they are offered in a range of finishes and at several price levels. They are built for players who want a workable instrument for rock and metal at a modest cost, and they sit alongside the company's other budget-oriented lines while using a different body shape from them.
