Ibanez GR series
The Ibanez GR series is a group of entry-level electric guitars in the company's GIO range, built to the pointed superstrat outline of the better known RG instruments. They have solid bodies of basswood or a similar wood, bolt-on necks with a slim profile and two humbucking pickups, with hardware and finishes kept simple to hold the price down. The GR shape gives a beginner the look and playing feel of a modern rock guitar, and the series sits below the RG models in cost and specification while serving the same musical purpose.
