Ibanez JEM555
The Ibanez JEM555 is a version of the JEM signature guitar built in Korea rather than Japan, sold at a lower price than the flagship models of the line. It carries the essential features of the design: the distinctive contoured body with the monkey grip, the scalloped lower cutaway, a locking vibrato bridge, high-output pickups and the vine inlay on the fretboard, though with different woods, hardware and pickups from the top models. Instruments of this kind let players buy the appearance and feel of the signature guitar at a fraction of the cost of the Japanese versions.
