Ibanez PM series
The Ibanez PM series is the line of signature archtop electric guitars built for the American jazz guitarist Pat Metheny. The instruments have hollow or semi-hollow bodies with a single cutaway, a set neck and one or two humbucking pickups, with a control layout kept simple, and they are produced in a smaller body size than the traditional jazz archtop, which makes the instrument more comfortable to hold and reduces its weight. They are used for jazz and for Metheny's own idiom, and the series has been revised several times since it was introduced.
