Ibanez RG Fixed
Ibanez RG Fixed refers to the versions of the RG superstrat fitted with a fixed bridge rather than a tremolo. A fixed bridge is mounted solidly to the body and has no moving fulcrum, so the strings cannot be bent as a group with a bar; players choose it for tuning stability, for easier string changing and for the extra contact with the body that is thought to add sustain and a slightly stronger low end. Ibanez has offered fixed-bridge versions of most of its RG specifications, and they are widely used by players who do not need a vibrato.
