Ibanez RG
The Ibanez RG is the company's family of superstrat electric guitars, introduced at the end of the 1980s and developed with the input of players such as Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. Its features are a solid, contoured body with sharply pointed horns, a slim, fast-playing bolt-on or neck-through neck with twenty-four frets, a wide pickup choice from the company's own single coils and humbuckers, and a locking vibrato bridge on many versions. The range is produced at many price levels from entry models to Japanese-made instruments, and it has been one of the most widely used shapes in modern rock and metal.
