Ibanez RG Prestige
The Ibanez RG Prestige is the designation the company uses for the Japanese-built, high-specification instruments in its RG superstrat range. Prestige guitars are made to a tighter standard than the mass-produced versions, with quartersawn or otherwise selected necks and fretwork finished by hand, better pickups and hardware, and in some cases figured tops and elaborate finishes. The name marks the top of the production line short of a custom instrument, and it is applied across several body shapes, with the RG and the S series among the best known.
