Ibanez Roadstar II
The Ibanez Roadstar II is a series of electric guitars and basses the company produced in the 1980s, the predecessor of the RG family. The instruments have solid contoured bodies with a slightly conventional double-cutaway outline, bolt-on necks and pickup arrangements of humbuckers and single coils, and they were built in Japan and elsewhere. The Roadstar was the shape through which Ibanez moved from making copies of American designs to producing its own modern guitars, and it was used widely by rock players of the period.
