Ibanez S4170 AB
The Ibanez S4170 AB is a model in the company's S series of thin, contoured electric guitars. It follows the design of the family: a slimly carved solid body, a set or bolted neck with twenty-four frets and a fast profile, two humbucking pickups with a five-way selector and a locking vibrato bridge, finished with a decorative top veneer. Instruments of this kind are produced in Japan at the upper end of the mass-produced range and in other factories at lower prices, and they are used for rock and metal where lightness and upper-fret access matter.
