Ibanez S
The Ibanez S series is the family of electric guitars built around the company's slim, sculpted body, introduced at the end of the 1980s. The S body is thinner and lighter than the RG and is carved with soft contours rather than sharp points, and it is usually fitted with a pair of humbucking pickups, a locking vibrato bridge on many versions and a slim, fast neck. The design is intended for players who want a light instrument with good upper-fret access, and it is produced at several price levels, including Japanese-made Prestige versions.
