Jackson Dinky

The Jackson Dinky is the company's compact superstrat, introduced in the 1980s and named for its reduced body size. It has the pointed horns and sharp contours of the brand's full-sized designs but a smaller outline, which makes the instrument lighter and, for many players, more comfortable, and it is normally built with a thin, fast neck, twenty-four frets, high-output humbucking pickups and a locking vibrato bridge. The Dinky has been offered in a very large number of versions and finishes, from American-made instruments to imported models, and it is one of Jackson's core designs.
