Jackson PC1
The Jackson PC1 is the signature electric guitar built for Phil Collen, the guitarist of the English rock band Def Leppard. It is a superstrat with a figured maple top, a bolt-on neck and an unusual pickup and electronics arrangement: a humbucking pickup at the bridge together with a sustaining device that drives the strings electromagnetically so that a note can be held indefinitely without distortion, controlled from the guitar, plus single-coil and acoustic-style transducer options on some versions. It was one of the first production instruments to incorporate a sustaining system of that kind.
