Jackson Rhoads
The Jackson Rhoads is the V-shaped electric guitar designed with the late guitarist Randy Rhoads and produced by Jackson from the early 1980s. Its body is an asymmetric V with an offset, elongated lower wing and sharp points, and it carries a slim neck, two high-output humbucking pickups and, on many versions, a locking vibrato bridge, with finishes that include white with black pinstripes in reference to the guitarist's instruments. It is one of the defining shapes of 1980s metal, and Jackson has produced it in many versions and price levels since.
