Quint Neck Guitar

The Quint Neck Guitar is an instrument with five necks joined into a single body, built by the American maker Hamer Guitars. Instruments with several necks are made so that a player can change between differently tuned or differently strung guitars without putting one down, and the usual arrangements have two or three, but five is exceptional and the guitar was built as a showpiece for stage use. Hamer, founded in the 1970s, built guitars of high quality in small numbers and became known for such custom work, and multi-neck instruments of this kind exist to be seen as much as played.
