Rickenbacker 300 Series
The Rickenbacker 300 series is the family of short-scale electric guitars that the American company introduced in the 1950s and continues to produce. Instruments in the series share a smaller body and a shorter scale length than the company's full-sized designs, and the range includes solid, hollow and semi-hollow variants with different numbers of pickups and different levels of decoration, most of them identified by numbers beginning with 3. The 300 series is prized for its compact feel and its bright, jangling tone, and it includes some of the most recognisable guitars the company has made.
