Rickenbacker 330

The Rickenbacker 330 is a semi-hollow electric guitar from the company's 300 series, with a double-cutaway body, a set of two pickups and the characteristic sound of a Rickenbacker: bright, jangling and clear, with a strong upper register that suits arpeggios and chordal work as much as lead playing. It differs from the more ornate 360 in having no binding on the body and a simpler specification, while sharing the shape and the electrical layout. It is one of the guitars most associated with the British beat groups of the 1960s and with the jangly styles that followed them.
