Rickenbacker 325

The Rickenbacker 325 is a short-scale electric guitar from the company's 300 series, introduced in the late 1950s. It has a compact hollow or semi-hollow body, a scale length noticeably shorter than standard, a set of three pickups on most versions and the company's own hardware and control arrangement, and it is played as a small, light instrument with a bright, ringing voice. It became famous through its use by John Lennon in the early Beatles, and Rickenbacker has produced the model in several versions and reissues since, keeping the short scale and the distinctive outline.
