Rickenbacker 360
The Rickenbacker 360 is a semi-hollow electric guitar from the company's 300 series, and the most decorated of the standard double-cutaway instruments. It has the familiar outline with the long upper horn, a body with binding, a set of two or three pickups and a control layout with separate volume and tone for each as well as a mix control, and some versions carry a stereo output arrangement. Its sound is bright, clear and very articulate, with a distinctive jangle in the upper register, and it is one of the instruments most identified with the popular music of the 1960s and with the styles that followed.
