Rickenbacker 4001CS

The Rickenbacker 4001CS is a limited edition version of the 4001 bass built in tribute to Chris Squire, the bassist of the English band Yes, and modelled on the instrument he played for much of his career. It reproduces the appearance and specification of his own bass, including its distinctive cream-coloured finish, and it carries the neck-through construction, two pickups and control layout of the standard instrument. Instruments of this kind are made in small, numbered runs for collectors and for players who want the sound and appearance of the bass behind a particular body of work.
