Roland JC-120

The Roland JC-120 is the company's Jazz Chorus guitar amplifier, introduced in the middle of the 1970s and one of the longest-lived designs in the field. It has two twelve-inch speakers, a high clean output from a solid-state power section, two channels with independent tone controls, spring reverb and a built-in stereo chorus effect that gives a wide, shimmering spread between the speakers. Despite the name it became a favourite far beyond jazz, valued for a loud, uncoloured clean tone that takes pedals well, and it remains in production.
