Roland VS series
The VS series is the line of digital multitrack recording studios Roland has produced. Instruments in the series record audio onto hard disk or solid-state memory rather than tape, offering many tracks at once, an internal mixer with effects, and editing functions that allow parts to be cut, moved and assembled on a display; the larger models also include sequencing and CD recording. They were used by musicians to record complete projects without a conventional studio, and the range has been revised through several generations since the 1990s.
