Roland VT-4
The Roland VT-4 is a voice transformer, a compact unit that processes the human voice and other inputs through effects such as pitch shifting, formant changing, harmonising, vocoding and various treatments of tone and character, with controls for each and the ability to store settings. It is used by singers and electronic musicians to produce robotic, harmonised or deliberately altered vocal sounds on stage and in the studio, and it can also be used on other sound sources. It belongs to the company's range of effects units rather than to its instruments.
