Strat Plus
The Fender Strat Plus is a version of the Stratocaster produced from the late 1980s into the 1990s. It was specified with a set of the company's low-noise pickups of the period, locking tuners and a roller nut, which together allow the vibrato bridge to be used freely without the guitar losing tuning, along with a two-point synchronised bridge and an expanded tone control arrangement. It was offered in several versions, including one with a humbucking pickup, and it represents Fender's attempt to modernise the instrument for players who needed stability on stage.
