Yamaha 01V
The Yamaha 01V is a digital mixing console introduced in the middle of the 1990s. It provides a set of input channels with digitally controlled gain, equalisation and dynamics processing, several effect processors, and motorised faders that move themselves to reflect the stored settings of a mix, with the whole arrangement configured and stored digitally rather than through hardware. Consoles of this kind brought the facilities of a large studio desk into a compact and affordable unit, and they were widely used in project studios, for live sound and for recording with a small rig.
