Yamaha C40
The Yamaha C40 is a classical guitar, one of the company's student instruments and among the most widely bought nylon-strung guitars in the world. It has a full-size body with a spruce or similar top, laminated back and sides, a rosewood or similar fretboard and a traditional fan-braced construction, and it is built to the standard specification of the classical guitar so that a beginner can learn on an instrument of conventional proportions. Instruments of this kind are sold in large numbers to schools and students, and they are used for the classical repertoire, for study and for general nylon-string playing.
