Yamaha BX-5
The Yamaha BX-5 is catalogued here as an electric bass from the company's range. Yamaha has produced basses in a number of families over the decades, with solid bodies, bolt-on or neck-through construction and a range of pickup and preamplifier arrangements, and instruments with the BX designation were made in a period when the company was offering several modern designs alongside its traditional models. The source record gives the model name and the instrument type without a fuller specification, so this page claims nothing about the body shape, electronics or production dates of the model.
