Yamaha L

The Yamaha L is the company's series of higher-grade steel-string acoustic guitars, produced in Japan as instruments above the mass-market models in its range. Guitars in the series have solid tops and, on the better models, solid backs and sides, with careful bracing, bound bodies and necks and a level of finish and hardware intended to satisfy demanding players, and they are offered in dreadnought and other body shapes. They were built to demonstrate that the company could produce acoustics of professional quality and are respected for their tone and construction.
