Yamaha MG-K
The Yamaha MG-K series is a group of compact analogue mixing consoles from the company's MG range, the K marking the versions fitted with digital effects or with a particular set of features. Instruments in the range provide a set of microphone and line inputs with gain, equalisation and auxiliary sends, a stereo output with metering, and, on the larger models, effect processors and the ability to record directly to a computer. They are used for small live sound setups, for rehearsals and for home recording, where a compact and inexpensive desk is needed.
