Yamaha MG
The Yamaha MG series is the company's family of compact analogue mixing consoles, produced in a wide range of sizes from a few channels to more than twenty. Instruments in the range provide microphone inputs with switchable gain and often phantom power, line inputs, equalisation, auxiliary sends, effect processors on many versions, and stereo outputs with metering, with the larger models allowing direct recording to a computer. They are intended for small live sound systems, rehearsal rooms and home studios, and their combination of low cost and dependable performance has made them widely used.
