Yamaha SBV
The Yamaha SBV is catalogued here as an electric bass from the company's range, recorded under a three-letter model designation. Yamaha identifies its instruments by letter groups followed by numbers, with the letters distinguishing the family, and basses sold under such codes include solid-body instruments with bolt-on or neck-through construction, one or two pickups and active or passive electronics depending on the version. The source record gives the designation and the maker without describing the instrument, so this page claims nothing about the body shape, pickups or production period of the model.
