Why it matters
The AGS yoke locks as the guitar's weight settles into it, which is why this stand family is the usual recommendation when a guitar has to hang in the open. The PLUS revision adds a folding yoke and accepts necks from 40 to 52 mm, with N.I.N.A. adaptors included for narrow necks. It holds up to 15 kg and adjusts from 950 to 1150 mm with an instant clutch.
Note
Hercules' Auto Grip System locks the guitar neck automatically when the instrument is set down, which is why the GS414B family is the default recommendation for hanging stands. The PLUS revision adds a folding yoke, weight is 1.8 kg, and Reverb's product record dates the model to the 2010s.
