JCM800 2203

Marshall's master-volume head from 1981, the model that became a metal standard.

Why it matters

Introduced in 1981 and still current, it is the master-volume design in the range, between the non-master plexi and the gain-forward JCM900 that followed. It is the head linked with Slayer and Guns N' Roses.

Note

The master-volume metal standard (Slayer, Guns N' Roses).
