Why it matters
The C-1 is the shape Schecter has built most of its reputation on, and the name covers everything from the Standard model to the Hellraiser and Exotic versions. The design uses a carved top, a set or bolt-on neck and hardware suited to heavier playing. It is one of the main alternatives to the better-known superstrats at similar prices.
Note
Schecter's flagship double-cut platform (C-1, C-1 Elite, C-1 FR S etc.).
