Why it matters

Early Schecter PTs are collector instruments, while the PT name now sits on a current production guitar in the Diamond Series at a modest price. That split means one model name covers very different instruments, and a buyer needs to know which one is in front of them. The current version keeps the shape in the hands of working players rather than collectors.
