Boss DD-3
The Boss DD-3 Digital Delay is one of the most widely used delay pedals ever made, carried in the Boss catalogue from the mid 1980s for some three decades. It is a compact digital delay with a delay-time control, feedback, effect level and a mode switch that selects a short doubling slapback, a longer delay or a hold function that repeats a snippet indefinitely. Its clean, uncoloured repeats and simple layout made it the default backline delay for countless players, and because units are plentiful and reliable, it remains a common sight on pedalboards today.
