Boss DD-6

The Boss DD-6 Digital Delay is a compact digital delay from the 2000s that widened the family's range considerably. Alongside ordinary delay settings it offers tap tempo for setting the repeat time by foot, a reverse mode that plays the repeat backwards, a warp function that sweeps the delay into runaway feedback, and a hold mode for freezing a phrase. Delay time can be set to the millisecond, and stereo outputs let the repeats spread across two amplifiers. It suits players who want unusual rhythmic and atmospheric effects, not only a plain echo.
